Keep Calm and Carry On was a propaganda poster produced by the Government of the United Kingdom in 1939 during the beginning of the Second World War, intended to raise the morale of the British public in the event of a Nazi invasion of Britain.

Πώς θα λέγαμε λοιπόν αυτή την φράση στα ελληνικά; Πιθανότατα το Carry on σημαίνει "συνέχισε" αλλά πώς θα πούμε το keep calm; Ηρέμησε; Όχι γιατί δηλώνει ότι το πρόσωπο έχει χάσει την ηρεμία του. Μείνε ήρεμος; Η αφίσα όμως δεν απευθύνεται μόνο σε άντρες αλλά σε όλο τον πληθυσμό και καλεί τον κόσμο να παραμείνει ήρεμος. Τι θα λέγαμε λοιπόν;
